Field Support Technician

Buddy of Parents (BOP) has implemented our solutions in 100 homes in Broward County. The successful candidate will receive training in all aspects of the job scope. Main responsibilities include: 

  • Schedule visits to (up to 100) BOP-users’ homes.
  • Conduct a technical health check on the installed BOP devices, and take corrective actions if necessary.
  • Report on each home’s status and work with BOP team on identified improvement opportunities.
  • Other administrative tasks that may be assigned to ensure customer relationship and business operations. 

Each home visit is estimated to be between 30 and 45 minutes. 

 

Ideal candidate should possess (not limited to)

  • Energy and motivation, initiative driven, has genuine interest and care for older adults.
  • Driver’s license and car, able to drive in Broward County. 
  • Positive disposition and team mindedness. 
  • Ability to exercise care and excellence in person-to-person communication. 
  • Pass relevant background checks required before entering homes of BOP-users. 
  • Pass training provided by BOP.
