Business Development Representative, Alternative Lending

Fresh Meadows, Queens | On site | Year one OTE $60,000 to $125,000

What You Will Do

• Work warm inbound leads from business owners actively seeking capital
• Build relationships over the phone and qualify the opportunity
• Generate funding applications and hand off to our closing team
• Manage and grow your own book of returning and referring clients
• Compete on a live sales floor where the scoreboard is public

What We Are Looking For

• Charisma, confidence, high energy, and a real reaction to a scoreboard
• The ability to make a stranger a friend in ninety seconds on the phone
• Comfort working in office, on the phone, every day
• Sales experience is a plus, whether that was the door, the phone, or the floor
• Veterans, college athletes, campus leaders, and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply

What Success Looks Like

On target earnings. Year one OTE $60,000 to $125,000. Year two OTE $100,000 to $250,000.

A book you own. Most sales roles reset to zero on the first of the month. This one does not. Clients return and refer, which is why year three on this desk looks nothing like year one.

A growing industry. Alternative lending expands every time traditional credit tightens. Deal flow grows with economic pressure instead of against it.

The Office

Utopia Center, Fresh Meadows, in reach of Flushing, Bayside, Jamaica Estates, and Kew Gardens Hills. The Q46, Q48, and Q45 stop at the center and there is parking on site.
