Dermatology Clinical Intern

Nexderm Clinic is a new Integrative Medical and Aesthetic Dermatology practice that is NP owned and operated.  I am looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse student interested in learning everything about a Dermatology office.  This position requires strong administration and organization skills as the Intern will work at the front desk directly interacting with patients but will also learn insurance verification, managing pathology labs interactions, prescription approvals, interactions with sales representatives.  In addition, this person should have a strong desire to learn everything Dermatology.  They will room patients and take their history, assist/observe in procedures such as skin biopsies, surgical excisions, laser treatments, dermal filler, toxin administration, and more.  In addition, based on the Interns interest, we can review challenging cases, go over standard conditions and their identification and treatment, discuss new and emerging technology in the world of Aesthetics and how to Integrative standard care while integrating evidence based discussions of supplements, stress, sleep, hormones, diet, etc.

Most of all this person should have incredible people skills as Nexderm is unlike any other high volume Dermatology office.  Our patients are our priority.
