🖊️ Bring Creativity Into 3D

We're looking for an enthusiastic 3D Pen Art Instructor to introduce young learners to hands-on 3D design through creativity, experimentation, and fun.

Students will use 3D pens to transform ideas into drawings, shapes, structures, models, and creative projects they can actually hold. You'll introduce basic techniques while encouraging students to experiment, solve problems, and develop their own designs.

This isn't about making perfect models. It's about helping students discover that they can turn an idea in their imagination into something real.

You don't need to be a professional artist, designer, engineer, or classroom teacher. If you're familiar with 3D pens, enjoy hands-on creative projects, or have experience with making and building, you may be a great fit.

Curriculum guidance and instructional materials are provided, giving you a clear structure while allowing you to bring your own creativity and personality to each class.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Lead engaging, hands-on 3D Pen Art sessions
  • Introduce students to the basics of using a 3D pen safely and effectively
  • Demonstrate techniques for creating lines, shapes, structures, and simple 3D forms
  • Guide students through creative, age-appropriate projects
  • Help students turn sketches and ideas into three-dimensional creations
  • Encourage creativity, experimentation, and problem-solving
  • Introduce basic concepts related to 3D design, structure, and spatial thinking
  • Break down projects into clear, manageable steps
  • Adapt activities to different ages, abilities, and experience levels
  • Encourage students to develop and personalize their own designs
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive creative environment
  • Provide constructive feedback and celebrate student progress
  • Promote safe and responsible use of 3D pens and materials
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming classroom environment
  • Communicate professionally with program coordinators and school staff

You don't need to be a professional 3D artist or traditional teacher. We're looking for someone who can make technology, design, and creativity approachable and exciting for young learners.

You may be a great fit if you have:

  • Familiarity with 3D pens, 3D printing, digital fabrication, crafting, or hands-on design
  • A genuine interest in art, design, technology, STEM, or creative projects
  • Ability to demonstrate techniques clearly and patiently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and an encouraging personality
  • Comfort leading hands-on group activities
  • Creativity and willingness to experiment
  • An understanding of basic tool and material safety
  • Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to follow provided curriculum while bringing your own ideas

Teaching experience is a plus, but not required. Experience in 3D design, 3D printing, art, engineering, STEM, crafting, maker programs, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or mentoring is helpful.

Artists, designers, makers, 3D printing enthusiasts, STEM students, engineering students, art students, college students, recent graduates, aspiring educators, and creative hobbyists are all encouraged to apply.
