Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Spanish Tutor to deliver high-quality, personalized language instruction to students. In this role, you will work one-on-one or in small group settings to help students strengthen their grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and conversational fluency.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, tailored Spanish lessons to elementary, middle, or high school students based on their individual learning goals.
Assist students with school coursework, homework assignments, exam preparation, and AP Spanish curriculum (if applicable).
Assess student progress, identify learning gaps, and adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
Foster a supportive, immersive learning environment that encourages active speaking and listening practice.
Maintain clear communication with parents and academy staff regarding student progress and milestones.
Qualifications & Skills
Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in Spanish (written and verbal).
Education: Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, Linguistics, Modern Languages, or a related field (open to all qualified college students and recent grads).
Experience: Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is preferred.
Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, reliable time management, and a passion for teaching.
Location: Must be able to commute to Irvine, CA 92620 for scheduled sessions.
