Campus Marketing Intern

Campus Market is a peer-to-peer marketplace where students buy and sell used furniture and apartment gear at move-in and move-out, already live and growing at Emporia State University (4,500+ site visits and ~60 sales in the first 40 days after launch). We’re looking for a Campus Marketing Intern to bring Campus Market to the University of Denver. You will be working in a startup environment, which will expose you to all aspects of business building. This will be a unique opportunity, especially for those who are interested in someday building their own business. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Promote Campus Market within student clubs, sororities/fraternities, dorms, and the student success center
• Share your unique referral link/code and help students sign up and post listings
• Represent Campus Market at move-in/move-out week and other campus events (tabling, flyers, posts)
• Identify and help onboard a few relevant student influencers or organization leaders each month
• Send a short weekly activity update and hours log

COMPENSATION

• Commission: 10% of the listing price for every listing posted by a student who signs up through your referral link, paid whether or not the item ends up selling
• Milestone bonus: a one-time $100 bonus once your referrals pass 1,000 signups
• Academic credit: this role can support credit-bearing internship requirements where your school approves it (subject to your university’s own process, not guaranteed)

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Currently enrolled student at the University of Denver; any year or major; marketing, business, or communications background is helpful but not required
• Comfortable representing a small company publicly on your own campus and social channels
• Able to commit a few hours a week for the rest of the fall 2026 semester

This is an unpaid internship, no cash salary or hourly wage is paid. Compensation is limited to the commission, milestone bonus and potential academic credit described above.
