Shout out to our nerdy and design-savvy students! 🎨 📣

We're Hiring: Social Media Intern

About Our Kind Therapy ☁️

At Our Kind Therapy, we're building an attachment-focused, experiential therapy practice for high-achievers and entrepreneurs. We prioritize high-quality therapy specializing in intimacy, career identity, and relationship expansion. Our culture is warm, steady, collaborative, and deeply committed to the wellbeing of our team and the people we serve.

We're growing our brand presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and we're looking for a creative, detail-oriented intern to help us bring our content to life.

About the Role

As our Social Media Intern, you'll work directly with our Director of Growth to execute the content sprints we plan together. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves psychology, research and design. You'll spend real time learning about Our Kind Therapy's unique experiential method and communicate that depth on our social platforms: this might require you to research psychological concepts and current business events to inform content. If you want to build your portfolio inside a fast-growing mental health brand with a strong point of view, this is for you.

You'll be responsible for turning content strategy into scroll-stopping posts, keeping our channels active and engaged, and helping our community feel seen and connected.

What You'll Do

  • Design branded social posts (carousels, reels covers, static graphics) in Canva from planned content sprints
  • Edit short-form video content in CapCut for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Manage community engagement: respond to comments and DMs in our brand voice, engage with aligned accounts to grow visibility
  • Support newsletter production: format, build, and schedule our monthly newsletter
  • Stay on top of trends, sounds, and formats relevant to mental health, wellness, and entrepreneurship content
  • Report on content performance and flag what's working

Qualified Candidates:

  • Have a background in psychology, marketing, communications, design, or business
  • Loves to stay up to date with relevant trends and research
  • Already reads WSJ, NYT, Bloomberg, MorningBrew
  • Already knowledgeable about intimacy, relational therapy, IFS, DBT, AEDP and more
  • Fluent in Canva, CapCut, and AI; comfortable picking up new tools quickly
  • A strong visual eye with an understanding of brand consistency
  • Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn as a creator, not just a viewer
  • Warm, thoughtful communicator who can hold our voice in comments and DMs
  • Interested in mental health, wellness, and mission-driven brands
  • Organized, reliable, and able to work independently on a part-time schedule

The Details

  • Hours: 7-10 hours per week
  • $510-740/month

  • Location: Remote
  • Reports to: Director of Growth
  • Start date: September 2026
