Administrative Assistant
We are looking for applicants ages 16-24 who are Christ-Centered, Relationally Focused, and Incredibly Fun! All our staff come ready for a life-changing summer where they are challenged in new ways, growing spiritually, and investing in campers for the sake of the Gospel.
The role of the Administrative Assistant is to interact with customers (families and parents) to address their concerns, answer their questions, and assist them with their needs. The Administrative Assistant is a key part of our ministry. Our vision is to create an experience that exceeds the expectations of all our campers, summer staff, and families so that the love of Jesus can shine through us and is not dampened by a negative experience. Our focus is to create an environment that nurtures and encourages relationships with God and others. Things like daily camper mail, registration, office needs, phone calls, and more need excellent staff to make sure camp runs smoothly each week. We are looking for attentive people with a love for customer service.
A Great Opportunity for Business & Communications Majors – This position is a great fit for college students studying business, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field who want to gain valuable professional experience while spending their summer at camp. You’ll develop real-world skills in customer service, communication, organization, problem-solving, administration, and working with families - all while being part of a Christ-centered camp community. It’s an opportunity to build your resume, grow your professional skills, and have a meaningful summer investing in others.
College Credit & Internships - It is possible to work at camp AND receive college credit. If you have an applicable field of study and would like to make your summer position into an internship, contact us once you apply, and we can discuss the possibility of an internship.
Camp Carl's summer is broken into 4-week Terms. Summer Staff can choose to work either 4, 5, or 9 weeks by selecting the term(s) they wish to work. If you choose to work 9 weeks, you will be entitled to one week of unpaid vacation.
