Engineering and Construction Management Intern

Engineering and Construction Management interns working for OGS will be involved in the management and execution of Construction projects thought the portfolio of projects managed by the Division of Design and Construction. These projects may range in size from $100,000 to $100 Million and encompass all trades of construction. The student assistant will work with field staff to support construction inspection efforts, assist with project control and contribute to collecting field data to address design issues and field conditions.

The Division of Construction provides construction management and inspection services for Design and Construction groups managed projects. We strive to deliver a well-coordinated project, on time and on budget though the use of internal and external resources. We deliver high quality, cost effective, and timely capital projects for our clients in which we set the standard in Design and Construction Services while building the foundation of New York.

Specific work would likely include Construction inspection, interpterion of contract documents, field measurement and recording to support timely resolution of varying field conditions.
