Job Title: Controls Engineer

Temple Control Systems is looking for a candidate who is self-motivated and detail-orientated with good communication skills to join our rapidly expanding company in a field with unlimited growth potential. This individual will be creative and have problem solving abilities to be utilized in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment. Often working directly with the customer and must maintain a professional manner.

Useful skills for the position include the following:

• Machine Controls / Conveyor Sortation Controls / PLC programming / Troubleshooting

• Experience programming touch screen (HMI) human machine interfaces. RSView Machine Edition

• Programming in Rockwell environment on both RSlogix 500 and RSlogix 5000 platforms. Writing programs from scratch, not just code modification.

• Control panel schematic design along with BOM generation for projects and part sourcing of purchased electrical components. Familiar with local vendors for purchasing automation controls parts.

• AutoCAD Proficient – AutoCAD Electrical is a bonus.

• Knowledgeable in safety circuits and current safety standards in the robotics and machine building industry.

• Familiarity with installation codes for this industry; NEC, OSHA

• Travel required – Estimated up to 50% of the time.

• Experience working with Ethernet IP - networking industrial control devices.

• BS in Electrical Engineering / Computer Software / Automation Technical Certificates

• Ability to write C# Code is a Major Plus

• SQL Database Experience is a Plus

• Servo Motion Experience, Motion Controllers, Vision Systems, Safety Controllers, Print and Apply systems

• PLC’s – Omron , Panasonic, Siemens, Schneider, GE
