Raquel Beautiful Foundation is a new nonprofit organization focused on inclusion, opportunity, and meaningful impact. We are seeking a motivated college student to gain hands-on experience during the Foundation’s startup and early development.

This is a project-based unpaid internship with meaningful responsibility. The intern will assist with several areas of nonprofit development while also taking ownership of one signature project based on current Foundation priorities and the student’s skills and interests.

Responsibilities

Support website content, marketing, and digital communications

Create and schedule social media content

Assist with nonprofit program development

Research sponsorship and in-kind gift opportunities

Identify potential nonprofit, community, and corporate partners

Support partnership and collaboration outreach

Create presentations, marketing materials, and other communications

Help organize projects, contacts, and planning materials

Assist with general nonprofit startup and development activities

Take responsibility for one defined signature project

Qualifications

Ideal candidates are college students studying nonprofit management, public relations, communications, marketing, business, or a related field.

Candidates should have:

Some experience with Canva, social media, and Google Sheets

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Good organization and follow-through

The ability to work independently in a remote environment

Initiative and a willingness to take ownership of projects

An interest in nonprofit leadership and openness to becoming engaged with the Foundation’s mission

Academic Credit

Students seeking academic credit are welcome to apply. Raquel Beautiful Foundation will work with the student’s college or university to complete required internship paperwork, supervision, and evaluations.

Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week though flexibility to assist in meeting academic requirements in timeframe needed, with flexibility based on the student’s academic schedule.
