Manufacturing Engineering Intern - Spring 2027

Produce process drawings for Manufacturing Engineering in accordance with the company’s engineering standards. Create engineering drawings by using ACAD. Make necessary revisions and modifications in accordance with the latest standards and manufacturing requests. Enter manufacturing routers into SAP. Perform data entry. All work to be performed under the guidance of staff Manufacturing Engineers and Designers.

Responsibilities: 

1. Produce detail drawings for Manufacturing Engineering in accordance with the company's engineering standards.
2. Create Engineering drawings by using ACAD.
3. Make necessary revisions and modifications in accordance with the latest standards and manufacturing requests.
4. Prepare, create and maintain information in the ECN Database.
5. Generate cost reduction summaries utilizing Excel.
6. Develop tooling and fixtures drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
7. Enter manufacturing router information into SAP.
8. Create and edit Work Instructions using Microsoft Word.
9. Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) procedures and guidelines.
10. Follow all company policies and procedures. Report to appropriate member(s) of management any incidents or issues when policies may have been violated. i.e - Work Place Harassment.

Requirements:

1. Computer experience using CAD and Microsoft Windows. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Inventor, Microsoft Office, and SAP experience a plus.
2. Must have completed freshman level, college coursework.
3. Job-related experience or coursework experience in the field of drafting, design, or engineering.
