Core Purpose
The Marketing Intern supports the marketing team to enhance and promote The Trust Company of Tennessee’s brand. This position will provide insights that support strategic decision-making, business development efforts, and client engagement while helping create meaningful experiences for clients and employees.
Responsibilities
- Shows a commitment to The Trust Company’s Mission, Core Values, and Client Promise.
- Assists the Marketing team in planning and executing multiple events, including client-appreciation parties, internal gatherings, and educational seminars.
- Helps manage day-of-event logistics, including room setup, post-event breakdown, and pick-up of catering/refreshments.
- Supports the Marketing team in fulfilling community commitments, such as filling tables for sponsored events, submitting advertisements for event programs, and arranging volunteer opportunities for staff.
- Facilitates annual large-scale client gift mailings.
- Performs administrative tasks and supports day-to-day marketing operations.
- Tracks tickets to local sporting events used by TTC’s client service teams.
- Enters attendance data into TTC’s CRM after client events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar is a plus
- Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
