WHO WE ARE
FitBiomics is a biotechnology company spun out of Harvard University, pioneering the next generation of health through microbiome innovation. Our flagship products, Nella and V·Nella, are clinically backed performance probiotics derived from elite athletes, supporting sleep, digestion, fatigue, recovery, and exercise motivation. Our founding research was published in Nature Medicine, and our human clinical data was published in Microbiome Journal.
We are a small, mission driven team of scientists, athletes, and creatives who believe in defying limits and elevating human potential from the inside out.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Go To Market and Growth Intern to own the channels that turn partnerships into revenue: ambassador and affiliate programs, practitioner and wholesale relationships, and the measurement systems that tell us what is working.
Where our Business Development and Partnerships Intern opens doors, this role makes what comes through them perform. You will run affiliate and code programs end to end, manage activation logistics and follow through, and own the numbers that leadership uses to decide where FitBiomics invests next.
This role is geared toward students in the final year of their program and recent graduates who are ready to step into a career. FitBiomics intends to make its first full time BD/GTM hire at the end of this internship cycle, and the strongest performer will be first in line.
We welcome applicants from business, marketing, economics, and communications backgrounds, and from science backgrounds with a commercial or analytical bent.
WHAT WILL THIS POSITION DO?
Ambassador and affiliate growth
- Onboard trainers, practitioners, and community leaders into our ambassador and affiliate programs
- Set up and manage discount codes, tracking links, and payout records
- Run the seed and follow up cadence: personal supply shipped, day 7 check in, day 21 protocol proposal, reorder conversation
- Identify which ambassadors actually convert and double down on them
Channel and activation execution
- Manage sampling activation logistics from confirmation through event day: product, materials, staffing, and follow up capture
- Support wholesale and retail placements, including practitioner kits, shelf materials, and sell through tracking
- Coordinate corporate pilot mechanics: cohort setup, baseline and day 60 surveys, and readout preparation
- Keep every activation measured, because unmeasured activations do not get renewed
Growth analytics and reporting
- Own conversion tracking across codes, activations, and channels
- Build and maintain the weekly growth report: what ran, what converted, what reorders
- Analyze which verticals and plays produce the best return, and make recommendations
- Maintain data quality across the tracker, CRM, and code systems
WHAT ARE THE TRAITS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE?
Required
- Final year undergraduate or graduate student, or graduated within the past two years
- Comfortable with numbers: spreadsheets, conversion metrics, and basic analysis are daily work
- Strong written communication for partner and ambassador correspondence
- Highly organized. This role is the operational backbone of the commercial function.
- Genuine interest in health, wellness, fitness, and science backed products
Preferred
- Experience with affiliate, ambassador, influencer, or community programs on either side
- Familiarity with CRM, e commerce, or analytics tooling such as HubSpot, Shopify, or Google Analytics
- Experience coordinating events or activations
- Coursework or experience in marketing analytics, growth, or revenue operations
Desired attributes
- Systems thinker who builds processes rather than repeating manual work
- Reliable on follow through. Most commercial value at this stage is won in the follow up, not the pitch.
- Entrepreneurial, self starting, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Collaborative, community focused, and operating with empathy
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
This role is based in our New York City headquarters in the West Village and Soho area, with hybrid flexibility.
Interns at FitBiomics are part of the team. Your ideas will be heard, your contributions valued, and you will leave with skills and a portfolio of real commercial outcomes. There is a strong chance of full time employment following the internship: FitBiomics intends its first dedicated BD/GTM hire to come from this cohort.
The future of fitness is whatever our generation decides it will be. We are committed to creating next generation probiotics that help people live healthy, active lives. If that resonates, we would like to hear from you.
