SECS Micro-Intern: Academic Research

Position is part of the Micro-internship program in the School of Engineering and Computer Science

Must be Freshman or Sophomore Standing

  • The role will include a research project in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
  • This project introduces students to aerial robotics through a hands-on cooperative transportation task. 
  • The student will work with two quadcopters connected by a cable and help develop a mission in which the robots autonomously approach a payload, attach to it, and lift it together. 
  • The project provides practical experience with programming, drones, sensing, and robotic experimentation while contributing to ongoing research in the ∆MARS Lab.

Duration: 4 weeks, 10 hours per week

Majors: Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Industrial and Systems Engineering
