About Mini Athletics

Mini Athletics is an award-winning children's athletics program designed to help young children develop confidence, coordination, physical literacy, and a lifelong love of movement through fun, age-appropriate activities.

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic Mini Athletics Coaches to join our growing team and help us bring our programs to more children throughout Central Texas.

The Opportunity

This position is more than simply teaching a class. Our coaches have the opportunity to help grow Mini Athletics in their community while earning additional income for the growth they create.

Coaches will earn:

• Hourly pay for every Mini Athletics class they teach
• Commission for each new venue they help bring to Mini Athletics
• Commission for each new student they personally refer who enrolls
• Class-fill bonuses when a class reaches its enrollment goal

Responsibilities

Coaching

• Lead fun, energetic, and developmentally appropriate Mini Athletics classes
• Create a positive, encouraging environment where every child feels successful
• Follow Mini Athletics curriculum and coaching standards
• Maintain a safe and organized class environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, schools, daycares, and community partners

Program Growth

• Help identify potential daycares, preschools, schools, recreation programs, and community venues
• Introduce potential venues to Mini Athletics CenTex
• Help promote classes and encourage new families to enroll
• Build relationships within the community that help expand our reach
• Represent Mini Athletics professionally and positively

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Energetic, enthusiastic, and loves working with young children
• Comfortable leading groups and keeping children engaged
• Dependable, responsible, and professional
• Positive and encouraging
• Comfortable communicating with parents and venue directors
• Interested in helping grow a program, not just teaching a class
• Willing to promote Mini Athletics within their personal and professional network
• Available for weekday and/or weekend classes as needed

Experience

Previous experience in any of the following is a plus:

• Coaching or teaching
• Early childhood education
• Preschool or daycare
• Youth sports
• Gymnastics, dance, cheer, track & field, or other athletics
• Kinesiology, education, child development, or related fields

Experience is not required for the right candidate. We will provide training and coaching support.
