WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Division Director- Division of Administrative Services, you will:
- Supervise subordinate Branch Chiefs and Division staff responsible for providing administrative and fiscal services, including travel, purchasing, training, and timekeeping, and plan and monitor the work performed by staff.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish goals and priorities for DAS programs and services and continuously review organizational performance to identify opportunities for qualitative and quantitative improvement.
- Implement or authoritatively recommend significant new organizational initiatives and changes to programs, policies, and procedures to improve administrative operations.
- Direct development of budgets and staffing plans to account for current and future program requirements and oversee acquisition/purchase-card activities, including approving Division purchases and reviewing acquisitions for proper purchases and charges.
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:
- Providing oversight and/or supervision to staff on administrative procedures for processing
actions including government travel orders, conference training coordination management, and/or time keeping. - Developing goals and objectives to measure administrative program operations effectiveness.
- Implementing new organizational initiatives and changes to improve administrative programs, policies and/or procedures.
- Managing and executing budgets such as summarize budgetary data, contracts/procurement actions, including small acquisitions, travel expenses and/or reimbursements.
