FA26 Agritourism Research Internship

The Agritourism Fall Internship program undergraduate research program offers those interested in agritourism, entrepreneurship and agribusiness the opportunity to: 

  • Conduct research under the mentorship of Dr. Yunzi Zhang, a hospitality & tourism faculty member of the NMC School of Business
  • Participate in Saipan-based data collection and analysis activities
  • Discuss topics such as entrepreneurship in a tropical economy
  • Learn about agritourism and business education and career opportunities

Internship Duration: September 7, 2026 – December 4, 2026 (tentatively 13 weeks, min. 17 hours per week) 

Stipend Information: the student intern will receive a total stipend of $2,500 

Application Eligibility

  • Full-time NMC student, enrolled in FA26 semester
  • Preferably a business major; for non-business majors, must have practical experience with business management, tourism, agriculture and/or natural resources management
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
