About Us

We're a Williamsburg-based creative studio, production company, and equipment rental business supporting creative studio clients as well as working filmmakers, photographers, content creators, and production teams with camera, lighting, grip, audio, and studio equipment.

This is a 3-month Fall/Winter internship that puts you in real production industry work from day one — pro-grade equipment, real clients, real customers.

What You'll Do

Prepare and pack equipment out and in for our productions and third-party rentals and returns. Work as production crew on our client productions, assisting producers, photographers, DPs, and more. Shop, source, and run pickups for production equipment and supplies as needed.

Who Thrives

Production EQ interns who thrive in this internship are self-managed gearheads — organized, and take real pride and responsibility in the details: checking gear in and out, double-checking the pull list, comfortable working solo while the rest of the team is on set, and knowing when to call for help before it's too late. Genuinely up for anything.

What You'll Learn

Camera systems and lenses, lighting and grip equipment, audio and sound production gear, studio production workflows, equipment rental operations and logistics, and industry-standard production practices and setups. Camerawork and client-facing duties, too.

Who We're Looking For

  • Current college student or recent graduate
  • Hybrid — 3+ days a week in Williamsburg (occasional client productions offsite, incl. Industry City)
  • High-agency and self-managed — you can work alone without being micromanaged
  • High care handling equipment, and comfortable learning technical and logistical systems on the fly
  • Available to work weekends
  • Bonus if you have a car (mileage reimbursed)
  • Interested in industry operations and logistics; grip, gaffer, or technical production roles within filmmaking, photography, videography, audio, production, content creation

Growth

Performance outliers will be considered post-internship, for part-time positions / openings at the studio.
