Pay Rate: Starting at $60.00 per hour

Birch Agency is seeking a qualified and dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) to support students in educational settings throughout Michigan. Qualifications :

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate or Michigan Temporary Teaching Authorization (T2EA)




• Deaf and Hard of Hearing (SL) endorsement




• Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred




• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills




• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education best practices




• Ability to effectively support student learning and educational access

Responsibilities :

• Provide specialized instruction and educational support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing




• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers




• Assist in developing and implementing individualized educational plans




• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation




• Support student access to curriculum and instructional materials




• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success initiatives
