Join Growing Innovative Local Company, Build a Stable Career, Protect Yourself from AI Obsolescence
RME Defeats Waste is building the first low-cost recycled materials collection system in the USA.
Why This Is a Career, Not Just a Job
Most entry-level jobs either bore you or get automated out from under you. This one doesn't. Recycled materials collection runs on real equipment and real relationships - the kind of work that can't be replaced by an app. Get in early as we scale from Phoenix to new markets, and you're not just hitting quota - you're building the path to territory lead, sales management, and real equity in your own growth.
The Role
You'll own your own Phoenix territory. You'll walk into a business, show the owner exactly where they're overpaying on hauling, and close a flat-rate deal that saves them money starting day one. No scripts, no cold-call lists — just face-to-face selling with a product that sells itself and a live case study in your back pocket.
You Will:
- Prospect and cold-visit commercial/industrial accounts in your territory
- Run on-site assessments comparing current hauling spend to RME's flat rate
- Close 3-year contracts (target: 4–5 signed/month once ramped)
- Build your own pipeline through referrals and repeat visits
- Track activity and pipeline in our CRM weekly
What You Bring
- No degree, no sales experience required — just a growth mindset and real hustle
- The ability to build rapport with a stranger in 30 seconds
- Thick skin: comfortable hearing "no" and knocking on the next door anyway
- A reliable vehicle and valid license (mileage reimbursed)
- Coachable — we'll train you on the pitch, the numbers, and the close
- Motivated by uncapped upside, not a capped paycheck
Compensation
- $40,000 base, benefits + uncapped commission | $100,000–$120,000 OTE Year
- 1 Renewal and upgrade incentives as your book matures
- Clear path to Account Executive / territory expansion for top performers
- Path to Year 1 OTE is realistic and actionable
Why This Beats a Typical Entry-Level Sales Job
Most first sales jobs have you pushing something nobody wants, or a role one AI tool away from disappearing. Here, you walk in with a product that saves people money immediately, a real local success story to point to, and a career in physical infrastructure that only gets more valuable as we scale. And you're backed by a real coaching structure - not handed a phone book and left to figure it out.
