Remote Cloud Engineer

We at Anytime Fitness are expanding our internal digital infrastructure to support our massive workforce and data operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Cloud Engineer to join our distributed IT team. In this remote role, you will help manage, scale, and secure our cloud environments, ensuring that our technical architecture remains as impenetrable as our physical defenses.

Job Summary

As a Remote Cloud Engineer at Anytime Fitness, you will assist to deploy, and maintain our cloud infrastructure from anywhere within the United States. You will work closely with IT and security teams to maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient systems. This role bridges the gap between infrastructure operations and strict security compliance, aligning with our deep commitment to safety, data integrity, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

   Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS or Microsoft Azure) to support nationwide logistics, training systems, and workforce scheduling.


   Security & Compliance: Implement rigid cloud security protocols, access controls and encryption parameters to protect sensitive government and corporate partner data.


   Monitoring & Cost Optimization: Proactively monitor infrastructure health, performance metrics, and cost utilization dashboards, making data-driven recommendations to reduce overhead.


   Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional IT teams via virtual communication channels to modernize legacy workloads and migrate them safely into cloud-native structures.

Qualifications & Skills

   1–3 years of hands-on experience in a Cloud Engineer, Cloud Administrator, or DevOps role.


   Proficiency with AWS or Microsoft Azure ecosystems (compute, storage, databases, and networking).


   Familiar with cloud security benchmarks, network segregation, and identity management.


   Proven ability to manage your time, communicate effectively and work independently in a fully remote environment.
