Shoreview School of Music is new music studio in North Oaks and we are hiring passionate, engaging music teachers to join our founding team.

We are currently seeking instructors for:

• Piano
• Voice

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, performers, music education students, and private lesson instructors looking to grow with a new community-focused music school.

Shoreview School of Music is a private music studio focused on high-quality instruction, strong student relationships, and long-term musical growth. We work with students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians preparing for auditions, performances, and school music programs.

Position Details

• Independent contractor role
• $30 per instructional hour
• Flexible scheduling
• Part-time
• Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach weekly private lessons
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
• Help students prepare for recitals, school performances, and auditions
• Communicate professionally with parents and staff
• Track student progress and attendance
• Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled lessons

Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Strong playing and sight-reading skills
• Ability to work with children, teens, and adults
• Music degree or current music education/performance studies preferred but not required
• Reliable, professional, and personable
