Specialty MedSpa & Wellness is a physician-led healthcare and aesthetics organization operating three locations in North Texas — a medical spa in The Colony and primary care clinics in The Colony and Frisco. Our care model blends aesthetics, wellness, and primary care under one clinical standard, and our brand is growing fast across social channels.
The Role
We're looking for a Social Media & Video Content Intern who can shoot, cut, and publish short-form video that actually performs. You'll work directly with our marketing lead and clinical team to turn treatments, provider expertise, and patient stories into content people stop scrolling for. This is a hands-on production role, not a coffee-run internship — your work will publish under our brand.
What You'll Do
- Shoot and edit short-form vertical video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts — 4–8 pieces per week
- Capture on-site b-roll: treatment room footage, provider interviews, behind-the-scenes, staff features
- Write hooks, on-screen text, and captions; source trending audio and formats
- Maintain the content calendar and schedule posts across channels
- Handle light community management — comments, DMs routed to the right person, saved-question log
- Pull weekly performance basics (reach, watch time, saves, follower growth) into a simple recap
- Build and maintain an organized footage library with consistent file naming
- Follow patient privacy and consent procedures on every shoot, without exception
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled undergraduate/graduate student or recent graduate — [Marketing, Film, Digital Media, Communications, or related; all majors considered with a strong reel]
- Portfolio or reel required. Show us 3–5 short-form videos you edited start to finish
- Working proficiency in at least one editing suite: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. After Effects or Canva a plus
- Comfortable operating a camera or filming on a phone with a gimbal; basic lighting and audio sense
- Native fluency with how content performs on TikTok and Instagram in 2026 — you should be able to name what's working right now and why
- Reliable transportation to our [The Colony] location for scheduled shoot days
- Professional, discreet, and comfortable in a clinical environment around patients and providers
Nice to Have
- Prior work in healthcare, aesthetics, wellness, fitness, or beauty
- Photography and basic retouching
- Experience with Meta Business Suite or a scheduling tool
- Any AI-assisted production workflow experience (script drafting, captioning, upscaling)
