Position Overview

PsychPlus is seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns (RMHCI) and Registered Social Work Interns (RSWI) to join our Tampa, Florida team as part-time 1099.

This is an excellent opportunity for emerging mental health professionals who are looking to gain valuable clinical experience, develop their professional skills, and build a meaningful career providing quality behavioral health services.

As a part time clinician, you will have the opportunity to develop and grow your caseload while working within a supportive clinical and administrative environment.

Responsibilities & Opportunities

• Provide outpatient mental health services to clients in a professional office setting.
• Work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, couples, and families.
• Develop and grow an individual caseload based on your availability and client needs.
• Utilize clinical knowledge and skills gained through graduate education in a professional setting.
• Collaborate with the PsychPlus clinical and administrative team.
• Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and adhere to professional and ethical standards.
• Continue developing clinical skills through hands-on experience and professional growth.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who are:

• Currently registered as a Mental Health Counselor Intern or Social Work Intern in Florida.
• Compassionate, professional, and committed to providing high-quality mental health care.
• Motivated to develop their clinical skills and grow their caseload.
• Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.
• Interested in working with children, adolescents, couples, and/or families.
• Available for after-school hours and/or flexible scheduling, which is strongly preferred.

Position Type: Part-Time, 1099 
Minimum Commitment: 12 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible; after-school availability preferred
