Description
This position will be shown as Confidential on ADP as it is a student job board only and all jobs are advertised and communicated through Handshake. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and route callers to the appropriate department or individual.
- Provide information about the university's services, hours of operation, and address.
- Maintain accurate records of calls and activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Communication Skills: Clear and concise verbal communication is crucial for understanding and conveying information accurately.
- Active Listening: Paying close attention to callers to understand their needs and respond appropriately.
- Customer Service: Providing friendly and efficient service to ensure a positive experience for callers.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly identifying and resolving issues that may arise during calls.
- Patience and Empathy: Remaining calm and understanding, especially when dealing with frustrated or upset callers.
Attention to Detail:
- Ensuring accuracy in taking messages, transferring calls, and updating information.
Technical Proficiency:
- Basic phone and computer skills to handle call routing and data entry.
Physical Requirements (if any):
- Position is 100% onsite.
Anticipated Schedule:
- M-W 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
