Social Media Management Intern - Fall 2026

OneHope is a global ministry that seeks to catalyze a movement to help every child in every generation encounter Jesus through engagement with God's Word. By working with local churches, international ministry partners, schools, and governments, we have been able to reach over 2 billion children with a relevant Gospel message since we began in 1987.  

Our internship program, Cultivate, is located in our international headquarters in South Florida. This program was born out of OneHope’s 30+ years of experience in research, program design, and outcome-based ministry. We are a large, innovative nonprofit that seeks to match your God-given gifts with a God-driven mission. The goal is to equip college students and recent graduates to work in a faith-based, international organization through mentorship by experienced practitioners and by providing significant opportunities for personal, spiritual, and professional growth.

This role will use skills in content creation, storytelling, and digital media to support OneHope’s communication efforts and help amplify our message. In this position interns will have the opportunity to achieve data driven, time oriented results while maintaining OneHope’s key messaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Work with team members to design and implement strategies to achieve various social media reach goals.
• Content Creation: Develop creative and impactful social media content, craft engaging stories that resonate with our target audience and highlight the impact of our programs on children and youth.
• Advocacy: Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and execute advocacy content across various social media accounts.
• Social Media Strategy: Advance and implement social media strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives, stay up to date on relevant social media trends.
• Engagement and Community Management: Monitor and engage with our online community, foster meaningful interactions among followers, creating a positive and supportive online environment.
• Follower Growth: Create and implement strategies for increasing our follower base across platforms, hashtag campaigns, collaborations, influencer partnerships, and contests to attract new followers.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track key performance metrics and analytics, Provide regular reports on engagement, follower growth, and campaign success to guide future strategies.
