Job Position: ELA (English Language Arts) Teacher

Location: Bronx, NY 10458

Pay Rate: $40.00/hr

Description:

Birch Agency is seeking ELA Teachers to join our team!

We are seeking dedicated ELA Teachers to join our team for the 2026/2027 school year in Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and creating a positive learning environment for young students in 5th & 6th grades.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school curriculum


  • Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles


  • Provide support and guidance to students in both academic and social development


  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience


  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

Requirements:


  • NY Teacher license


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
