YMCA Youth Sports Coordinator
Location: Arthur Jordan Branch YMCA
Under the direction of the Sports Director, the Program Coordinator I supports the administration and supervision of youth sports and movement‑based programs including Youth Sports, Gymnastics, Cheer, Tumbling, and Dance. This role assists with program development, promotion, clinic coordination, instruction, and the supervision of employees and volunteers. Responsibilities include hiring support, training, scheduling, evaluating staff, improving program quality, participant retention, and staying aware of current trends in the field.

Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in youth or adult sports
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of YMCA programs and volunteer engagement
- Administrative skills including computer use, scheduling, record keeping, and personnel support
- Strong human relations and motivational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and staff
- Current certifications in CPR Heartsaver, First Aid, Safety and Risk Management, Child Abuse Prevention, New Employee Orientation
- Or ability to obtain within 60–90 days
- Program documentation and reporting skills
