Field Intern
Dr. Kim Schrier for Congress seeks a Field Intern for the 2026 election. The Field Intern will be responsible for supporting canvassing efforts in the 8th Congressional District and attending events with the Congresswoman and will play a critical role in community outreach.
This position requires 12-15 hours a week, primarily in the evenings and weekends for voter contact. A regular week may include direct voter contact during weekday evenings and attending a parade or canvass launch on weekend mornings. The desired start date is September 15th, 2026 and an end date of November 3rd, 2026. The position pays $17.13 per hour with mileage reimbursement.
The person in this position will be expected to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, and must have access to a laptop, internet, and a reliable car. The Field Intern will report to the Field Organizer.
Job Responsibilities
- Working alongside the Field Organizer, volunteers, and other supporters on direct voter contact efforts including: phone banking, canvassing, text banking, and parades
- Coordinating regular direct voter contact activities
- Coordinating yard sign distribution
- Meeting personal goals for phone calls, door knocking, and yard signs — averaging 200-250 doors knocked per week
- Representing the campaign at events throughout the district
- Other duties as assigned

Job Location
The position will be based in Issaquah, WA with travel throughout the 10,000 square mile district expected!
