Post-Production Intern
McGee Media, an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning independent documentary production company, is seeking a Post-Production Intern to join our team this fall. The intern will support the post-production department across multiple projects approximately 2–3 days per week, with flexibility based on project needs.
Responsibilities may include:
- Transcribing interviews and other footage
- Assisting with script conforms
- Organizing project files, documents, and post-production materials
- Supporting editors and the post-production team as needed
- Assisting with occasional office and delivery runs
Qualifications:
- Interest in pursuing a career in post-production
- Experience with Avid Media Composer
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience working in Google Docs and Sheets
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous transcription or script conform experience is a plus
- Must be based in the New York City area and available to work from our Midtown office as needed
