Videographer for Veteran Interviews

We are getting way more applicants for this than we thought. We will only respond if you message us first. Before you do, please read the entire description:
…………………………………….

Hello,

We interview heroes of history all across the country, and even the world. Our theme is "Legends of Aviation." We are trying to gather WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans' stories while they're still with us. We focus on those in the aviation realm, be it pilots, mechanics, engineers, etc.

Here is our Legends of Aviation Playlist:

We have several shorts on our channel as well.

We have already filmed 50+ gigs and are trying to film as many as possible.

SO, if you would like to help us film them, we will pay you $200 in addition to reimbursing fuel costs (calculated via Zebra). I will take care of editing, logistics, and the interview itself. I'll take care of the interview questions. I just need someone there to manage the equipment.

Speaking of equipment, we need at least one 4K camera (two is a bonus for additional angles), proper lighting equipment, and microphones to go with it (shotgun and lavalier mic). If you'd like to be a part of this project, please apply so we can talk on the phone for a little bit. I will send you our contract agreement to review.

Here is an overview of our system on what it takes to make an episode:

In addition to payment and reimbursement, we are happy to credit you in the description.

We already have camera operators covered in the following areas:

-San Francisco, California

-Los Angeles, California

-Hendersonville, North Carolina

-Washington D.C.

-Phoenix, Arizona

-Salt Lake City, Utah

If you can service another area than what is listed, please apply. We also need videographers outside the USA as well.

Again, $200 a gig, $300 if it takes more than four hours, and fuel is also reimbursed / travel expenses. I pay per gig, not per hour.

NOTE: If you aren't a good fit, but you know of a retired aviation legend whom we could interview (could be a pilot, mechanic, engineer, gunner, etc.), we will pay you a finder's fee if you help us get in touch with a qualified individual. It will be paid at the completion of videoing the interview, and you will be given credit on our YouTube video as well. We will pay $50 for each gig you help us find in the United States, and $200 for each gig outside of the United States.

Thanks,

Andrew
