Lin Zhao Insurance Agency is an established Farmers Insurance agency serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout the Bay Area.

We are looking for a bilingual customer service professional who wants to build a stable, long-term career in insurance. Prior insurance experience is not required. We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and support as you learn how insurance policies work and how to assist clients confidently.

This is primarily a customer service and relationship-management position with opportunities to earn additional commission and performance bonuses. It is not a commission-only role.

What You’ll Do

• Assist existing clients by phone, email, and in person.
• Help clients with billing questions, payments, policy changes, renewals, and insurance documents.
• Explain coverage options and agency procedures in clear, easy-to-understand language.
• Follow up with clients, referrals, leads, pending quotes, and renewal opportunities.
• Prepare insurance quotes and assist with applications.
• Identify possible coverage gaps and introduce appropriate insurance solutions.
• Maintain accurate client records and protect confidential information.
• Learn personal and commercial insurance products through structured, hands-on training.

What We’re Looking For

• Fluent in English and either Mandarin Chinese or Spanish.
• Strong communication, listening, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Patient and professional when assisting customers.
• Comfortable speaking with clients by phone.
• Willing to learn insurance products and work toward customer service and sales goals.
• Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, and customer-management software.
• Available to work full-time in person at our Fremont office.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, office, sales, or financial-services experience is helpful, but not required. Recent graduates and candidates beginning a new career are encouraged to apply.

Licensing

A California Property and Casualty insurance license is not required when you apply. The selected candidate must complete the licensing requirements before beginning work. We provide licensing guidance and reimburse approved course, examination, and license application expenses after the requirements are successfully completed and employment begins.

Compensation and Benefits

• Guaranteed base pay of $25–$30 per hour, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
• Commission and performance bonuses in addition to base pay.
