Job Title: Production Associate

Position Summary

Entry-level Production Operator responsible for safely operating and maintaining production equipment in a manufacturing environment while meeting quality, safety, and production standards. Performs equipment setup and operation, inspects products using precision measuring tools, completes production documentation, and maintains a clean and organized work area. And supports, cross-trained to operate multiple production machines, follows environmental, health, and safety procedures, and collaborates with team members across shifts to ensure efficient production and consistent product quality.

Job description:

Essential Functions: and other duties as assigned

• WORK SAFELY WITH SAFETY ALWAYS IN MIND
• Operates & maintains production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Ability to be cross trained and safely operate any production machinery
• Requires the ability to use and understand measuring devices such as calipers, run-out gauges, etc.
• Maintain production output that meet company expectations
• Performs all duties and responsibilities with some supervision required
• Entry level position for Production

Primary Responsibilities: and other duties as assigned

• Operate production machinery and computers
• Responsible for in- process quality and rejects product outside of specifications
• Operate within work station procedures and environmental, health and safety procedures
• Handle various chemicals, including solvents, safely
• Complete production logs, forms, and route cards
• Communicate with operators from other shifts
• Clean and maintain work area
• Turn off equipment when not in use
• Other duties as assigned

Job Specifications:

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
• Previous production or related work experience not required, but 1 - 3 years of related experience preferred

Working Conditions:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Machinery operation and chemical handling requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses/goggles, hearing protectors, gloves and respirators. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry and open-toe shoes are not permitted.
