Job Summary:

As a member of the OVE Construction Team, you will ultimately be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of underground utility and telecommunications construction projects. Opportunities are available for:

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

We play a critical role in safely delivering quality infrastructure projects. Our customers are utility providers, telecommunications clients, municipalities, and internal project teams, and you will make meaningful contributions to the company's success through safety, teamwork, quality workmanship, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):

• Perform duties specific to your assigned position while supporting construction operations safely and efficiently
• Follow company safety policies, customer requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Collaborate with field crews, supervisors, subcontractors, and project leadership to successfully complete projects
• Maintain quality workmanship while meeting production schedules and customer expectations
• Operate, maintain, or support construction equipment, vehicles, tools, and jobsite operations as applicable
• Promote a positive safety culture built on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Maintain professional communication with coworkers, customers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
• Support project documentation, inspections, and compliance requirements as assigned
• Travel to project locations throughout Ohio and surrounding areas as business needs require
• Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs

Required Qualifications:

Education, Licensing, and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license preferred or required based on position
• Position-specific licenses and certifications may be required

Experience

• Relevant construction, utility, telecommunications, mechanical, project management, or environmental health and safety experience depending on position
• Experience in underground utility, heavy civil, or telecommunications construction preferred
• Experience operating equipment, supervising crews, managing projects, maintaining heavy equipment, or supporting safety programs depending on assigned role

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in telecommunications, underground utility, or heavy civil construction
• CDL or equipment operating certifications, where applicable
• OSHA certifications or other industry-recognized safety certifications
• Leadership or supervisory experience for Foreman, Project Manager, and EHS positions

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical activities required for assigned position
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift, and perform manual tasks as required
• Ability to travel to project locations throughout Ohio and surrounding areas
• Ability to safely work in active construction environments
