Diagnostic Imaging- Ultrasound Vascular Technologist
JOB SUMMARY
The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist performs a wide variety of routine duties including clerical, technical, and patient related functions. The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist will work directly under the Manager, Assistant Manager. The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is responsible for assisting with running DI front office as well as assisting members of the patient care team and providing a broad range of health care services such as but not limited to exam review, exam preparation, patient education, assistance with exams and procedures, and patient transporting. The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist may be assigned to work in a variety of imaging modalities, and will assist with clinical services per operational needs. Diagnostic Imaging Technologist assists with exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited Imaging program
CPR
ARDMS (RVT) required.
ARDMS (AB)(OB/GYN)(BR) are a plus.
Minimum Work Experience
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent language, grammar and spelling skills.
Accurate, efficient, key-boarding skills
Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities
Highly organized.
Must be current on state-of-the-art office technology, including entire Microsoft Office Suite, and other office
technologies.
Solid ability to handle highly confidential, sensitive information. Position requires a high level of professionalism, tact,
discretion, and integrity.
