Medical Assistant for Pre-Med Student

Revitalize Medical Center is an interventional pain integrative medical practice in Glenview, IL seeking a part time medical assistant (TUESDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS 8-4:30). Dr. DeCaria is former faculty at University of Chicago and trained at Northwestern and University of Chicago. We are looking for a compassionate, friendly, motivated individual to be a medical assistant to start in September. Perfect opportunity for a pre-health student looking for a hands-on, paid position with excellent learning potential.  Prior medical office experience or customer service work is preferred but not required, as Dr. DeCaria is happy to train whomever comes on board. Job will include front desk duties, such as answering phones, checking patient insurance, but primary role with be clinical duties such as rooming patients, checking vital signs, scribing for doctor, and assisting physician with X-Ray and ultrasound guided procedures. Great opportunity for gap years in school to gain clinical experience, as well as mentorship. All 5 prior MAs in this role have successfully gone on to medical school and one to PA school. Paid time off. Preference will be given to those taking gap years. If with the company for a year, the employee will be eligible for additional benefits, including 401K with match.
