Lab Prep Assistant

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is looking to hire a Lab Prep Assistant.  

The job teaches students valuable skills regarding laboratory management and learning beyond classroom instruction how to keep a college-level laboratory ready for daily use.  The student will also work on organizing chemicals, supplies, and equipment in these lab spaces.  As needed, the student intern will assist with repairing, calibrating, and maintaining the instruments within the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. 

 Students must have completed CHEM106 or an equivalent course with a grade of C minus or better and currently enrolled at St. Mary's College of Maryland. Preference will be given to Chemistry of Biochemistry majors
