We are seeking an experienced Senior QA & Business Analyst to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test strategy development, and business analysis activities across critical enterprise applications. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, system owners, developers, and testing teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements, regulatory standards, and operational expectations. The ideal candidate brings a blend of manual and automated testing expertise alongside strong requirements management capabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies, test plans, scenarios, and test cases aligned with operational goals and project timelines.
  • Participate in Joint Application Requirements (JAR) and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions for system change requests and maintenance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to analyze, document, and refine functional and business requirements into testable scenarios.
  • Create, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts for functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and data validation testing.
  • Partner with technical and vendor teams handling System Integration Testing (SIT) to align testing phases and eliminate redundancies.
  • Manage the complete defect lifecycle—identification, logging, triage, prioritization, retesting, and validation—using enterprise tracking tools.
  • Drive test automation initiatives by identifying opportunities, establishing frameworks, and transitioning manual regression suites into automated solutions.
  • Track and report testing metrics, defect trends, execution progress, and release readiness to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Perform data quality verification, data reconciliation, and reporting validation across enterprise systems.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA), UAT, and/or Business Analysis supporting large-scale enterprise systems.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation and transitioning manual testing suites into automated frameworks.
  • Strong background in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
  • Proven experience analyzing requirements, drafting use cases, and creating user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Proficiency with test management and tracking platforms (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet).
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestComplete, Power Automate, or UFT).
  • Experience with enterprise reporting and data validation tools (such as Power BI or Microsoft Fabric).

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with public sector or health and human services eligibility/case management systems.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehousing.
  • Exposure to environments utilizing .NET architectures, Angular front ends, and SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Location: Atlanta, GA
  • Hybrid / Remote with occasional on-site meetings as needed
  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
