About myPawPair
myPawPair is a pet care platform built by two sisters and two Standard Poodles in the East Bay. We walk with pet owners through every stage of their pet's life — from figuring out if a pet is right for their life, to bringing them home, to everything that comes after. We're a early-stage startup preparing for a public founder presentation and need communications support to help us show up sharp.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a communications-savvy contractor to help our two founders and veterinarian Advisor to prepare for an upcoming live presentation and demo in front of an audience. This is a short-term, project-based engagement ideal for someone with experience in storytelling, pitch preparation, or public communications.

What You'll Help Us With

  • Refining and tightening our founder elevator pitch — clear, compelling, and authentic to who we are
  • Identifying and sharpening our key talking points for a live audience
  • Coaching founders on delivery, pacing, and presence
  • Reviewing and giving feedback on our demo flow and narrative arc
  • Preparing us for likely audience questions

What We're Looking For

  • Strong background in communications, public relations, speechwriting, or pitch coaching
  • Experience preparing founders, executives, or public figures for live presentations
  • Ability to listen, distill, and reflect back a clear and authentic story
  • Collaborative, direct, and comfortable giving honest feedback
  • Familiarity with the startup or tech space is a plus but not required

Logistics

  • Remote with availability for video sessions
  • Short-term project-based engagement
  • Compensation commensurate with experience
  • Immediate start preferred
