CNC MACHINIST 
Full-Time | Grand Rapids Facility (4423 40th Street // Kentwood, MI) 
Wage Range: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour 

Available Shifts: 

            A-Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00 am – 3:00 pm EST

            B-Shift: Monday through Thursday 2:30 pm – 12:30 am EST

                        Includes 10% Shift Premium

            C-Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 am – 6:00 pm EST

                        Includes 10% Shift Premium

Job Summary

 

Gaishin Manufacturing – Grand Rapids is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our C-Shift team. The CNC Machinist will operate and monitor Swiss-style and Mill/Turn CNC lathes, ensuring the production of high-quality precision parts in line with company and customer standards.

 

This weekend shift offers a unique opportunity: work just 36 hours over 3 days and get paid for a full 40-hour week—a great option for work-life balance while building a long-term career in precision manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC Swiss-style and Mill/Turn lathes to produce precision parts.
  • Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and GD&T requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Monitor equipment for proper operation and escalate issues to set up technicians or supervisors as needed.
  • Follow all quality standards, production procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide clear shift handoffs to ensure smooth operations.
