Description
We are seeking a responsible and motivated college student for the position of Indoor Turf Field Student Worker. This role involves supervisory and cleaning responsibilities at our cutting-edge indoor turf field facility, the Thomas B. Poole '61 and Family Sports Dome. The ideal candidate should be sports-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment for our students, staff and faculty.
Responsibilities:

Supervisory Duties:
- Oversee indoor turf field activities, ensuring compliance with facility rules.
- Enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures, promptly addressing any incidents.

Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Regularly inspect and clean the indoor turf field, removing debris and maintaining cleanliness.
- Routinely check waste bin levels, report replacement needs.
- Inspect sports equipment, reporting damages or issues as necessary.
- Coordinate with the Associate Athletic Director for any necessary repairs.

Facility Operations:
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring a smooth start and end to daily operations.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain an organized storage area for sports equipment, ensure users remove equipment off of the playing surface following sessions.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled at HWS
- Strong passion for sports and recreation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrated reliability and responsibility
- Flexibility to work throughout the academic day and weeknights
