Wildlife Tech/Construction Monitor

This is a well-paying, field-based position that offers recent graduates an opportunity to build practical experience in environmental compliance, wildlife protection, and biological monitoring. You’ll work alongside experienced environmental professionals and construction teams while gaining skills that can help launch a long-term career in environmental consulting, biology, or natural resource management.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor construction activities to help ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project requirements
- Identify sensitive species, wildlife, and habitats and help implement appropriate protection measures
- Communicate observations and environmental concerns clearly with contractors, biologists, and project teams
- Collect field data and maintain accurate daily reports
- Work outdoors in a variety of environments and weather conditions
- Gain hands-on experience with real-world environmental compliance and construction projects
What We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you have:
- A degree or recent coursework in Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology, Natural Resources, Wildlife Management, or a related field
- A strong interest in field biology and environmental protection
- Good communication, observation, and data-recording skills
- The ability to work independently while also collaborating with construction and environmental teams
- Flexibility to work long hours and in remote field conditions
- Previous biological or environmental monitoring experience is a plus, but not required
