MINDscapes is seeking a Special Education Instructional Assistant to work in person at a Columbus-area school, partnering directly with a virtual Intervention Specialist to support students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group academic support
• Support students during instruction and classroom activities
• Reinforce strategies and skills provided by the Intervention Specialist
• Provide behavioral and classroom support
• Assist with IEP accommodations and student needs
• Communicate with the Intervention Specialist and school team

Qualifications

• Experience working with children; special education experience preferred
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
• Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related experience is a plus
• Reliable and comfortable working with students with diverse needs
• Must be available to work in person in Toledo
