Senior Business Financial Analyst

Job description

We are a 30-year-old well established and reputable Investment Banking Company based in Center City Philadelphia, seeking a full-time Structured Finance Analyst. Candidate must have 5 years + of financial analyst experience. Analyst will be a key member of the company and will interact on a daily basis with the company’s clients and trading desks with major Wall Street Financial Institutions. Candidate will be underwriting and pricing financial transactions. Candidate will be working with clients on the origination and transaction platforms leading up to the closing of multi-million-dollar transactions. Candidate must possess strong analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to multitask during the course of a typical day. The candidate must have excellent references. This position can escalate into a senior role in the company with excellent financial benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Underwriting and pricing financial transactions
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence with clients (e-mail, letters, packages etc. negotiations, questions, etc.)
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary
  • Assist with marketing campaign
  • Perform Market Research

Skills

  • Proven experience as a financial analyst
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc.)
