Position Overview
We are seeking a Product Marketing & Ecosystem Manager who can develop deep product understanding, communicate company's value with clarity and credibility, and represent the company across technology, financial, and business ecosystems. This person will help shape product positioning, speak at industry events, build strategic relationships, and create repeatable channels that expand BearSignal’s market access.
This is a highly external-facing role at the intersection of product marketing, field engagement, ecosystem development, thought leadership, and go-to-market execution. The successful candidate should be comfortable moving between product discussions, technical audiences, executive conversations, conference stages, partner meetings, and hands-on follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and continuously refine company's product positioning, messaging, value proposition, customer narratives, and external product story for different audiences.
• Represent company's at conferences, panels, demo days, partner programs, customer meetings, and industry communities; deliver clear product presentations, demonstrations, and live Q&A.
• Identify and pursue high-value speaking opportunities, ecosystem programs, strategic communities, industry associations, universities, investor networks, technology partners, and other channels that can expand company's credibility and reach.
• Build trusted relationships with ecosystem partners, community leaders, customers, founders, operators, investors, and other stakeholders; convert the right relationships into partnership, co-marketing, distribution, or customer opportunities.
• Own conference and event execution from opportunity selection and preparation through speaker briefing, meeting coordination, on-site representation, lead capture, follow-up, and post-event review.
• Partner closely with founders, product, engineering, sales, and customer-facing teams to translate product capabilities into credible decks, demos, one-pagers, case studies, launch materials, website copy, and partner assets.
• Capture customer feedback, technical questions, competitive signals, partner needs, and ecosystem trends; maintain disciplined follow-through and track measurable outcomes from events, partnerships, and external programs.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated professional experience. Strong academic achievement, rigorous graduate training, or other evidence of analytical rigor and rapid learning is valued; an MBA or relevant graduate degree is a plus, not a requirement.
• Demonstrated public-speaking and product-communication capability. Candidates should be able to explain a complex product clearly, adapt the message to technical and non-technical audiences, handle live questions, and communicate credibly with senior external stakeholders.
• Strong learning ability and technical fluency. Candidates do not need to be software engineers, but they must be able to understand how a technology product works, ask precise technical questions, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and communicate technical value accurately.
• Commercial and market judgment sufficient to connect product capabilities with customer needs, industry context, partnership opportunities, and go-to-market priorities. Familiarity with financial markets, fintech, capital markets, or quantitative workflows is especially relevant for this role.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management ability, including preparation, audience awareness, composure under questioning, sound judgment, and the ability to build trust across customers, partners, technical teams, executives, and communities.
• High ownership and execution discipline: strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, documentation, follow-through, and comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment with incomplete information.
• Willingness to travel regularly and serve as a visible public-facing representative of BearSignal at conferences, panels, customer meetings, partner activities, and industry events.
Preferred Experience & Capability Signals
Relevant experience may come from one or more of the following environments. These are signals of fit, not rigid pedigree requirements:
• Technology, AI, fintech, capital markets, investment banking, quantitative finance, trading, financial services, product marketing, ecosystem partnerships, business development, consulting, developer relations, or another role combining technical learning with external communication.
• MBA or other graduate-level business, technology, finance, or quantitative training.
• Experience speaking at conferences, panels, customer events, community programs, or other professional forums, with evidence of strong audience engagement and follow-through.
• Experience using modern presentation, CRM, collaboration, research, event, analytics, and approved AI tools. AI-assisted work must be independently reviewed for accuracy, context, brand alignment, confidentiality, and business risk.
