Senior U.S. College Admissions Consultant
Position Type: Part-Time / Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced U.S. College Admissions Consultant to provide personalized admissions guidance to international high school students applying to selective U.S. colleges and universities. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and substantial first-hand experience in admissions review or applicant interviews.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate students’ academic profiles, extracurricular activities, and application readiness
Develop personalized college lists and application strategies
Advise students on application positioning, activity presentation, and personal narratives
Provide ethical, student-centered guidance on personal statements and supplemental essays
Conduct mock admissions interviews and provide detailed feedback
Help students understand the expectations of highly selective U.S. institutions
Communicate clearly with students, families, and the academic support team

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or graduate degree from a U.S. university ranked among the Top 40
Extensive experience in U.S. undergraduate admissions
Must meet at least one of the following criteria:
Previously reviewed undergraduate applications for an Ivy League institution
Worked full-time or part-time in the admissions office of a U.S. Top 40 university
Served as an official alumni admissions interviewer for a selective U.S. university
Participated in admissions interviews at a Top 50 U.S. boarding school
Strong understanding of holistic admissions and selective college evaluation standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to provide practical, individualized, and actionable guidance
Commitment to student confidentiality and ethical admissions practices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience across multiple admissions cycles
Strong track record of supporting students applying to highly selective institutions
Experience working with international students and families
Familiarity with Early Decision, Early Action, Regular Decision, and institutional admissions priorities
Experience advising students on school selection, application strategy, interviews, and extracurricular positioning
