Interpreter - All Languages

LATN is currently seeking **ONSITE** freelance interpreters for all languages with at least one year of experience.

THIS IS NOT A FULL-TIME POSITION- This is a freelance position with assignments available within flexible business hours, Monday through Friday, on an as-needed basis.

Duties:

• Provide interpreting services as an independent contractor in medical and social services structures.
• Comply with the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC) Code of Ethics and HIPAA regulations
• Perform duties in a professional manner.
• Turn in client worksheets and invoice within 24 hours of the appointment

Qualifications:

• Must demonstrate fluency in English and a 2nd language
• Must have flexibility to accept assignments during weekdays and business hours.
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Awareness of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
• Able to comply with credentialing requirements for independent contractors working in healthcare facilities
• Able to pass the language proficiency and Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice test
• Must be punctual and responsible.
