Chambers Music Studio is seeking an enthusiastic Strings Teacher to join our Worthington team and help us Save the World Through Music Education!
Our teachers are part of a structured music education pathway designed to help students grow from their earliest musical experiences through advanced study, ensembles, and performance. We’re looking for a teacher who wants to build long-term relationships with students and help them become confident, independent, lifelong musicians.
What You’ll Do
- Teach private violin, viola, and/or cello lessons
- Provide engaging, age-appropriate instruction
- Develop technique, musicianship, music reading, and performance skills
- Help students progress through our structured curriculum and pathway
- Prepare students for recitals, ensembles, and performance opportunities
- Complete lesson notes and communicate student progress
- Participate in training, mentorship, and professional development
- Collaborate with our team of music educators
Who We’re Looking For
- Strong proficiency in violin, viola, cello, or multiple string instruments
- College-level study in music, music education, performance, or a related field preferred
- Current college students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Dependable, positive, professional, and eager to learn
- Passionate about helping students grow over the long term
