Position Summary:
The Digital Marketing & Advertising Intern supports the organization's digital marketing efforts through hands-on experience in email marketing, social media strategy, content development, and marketing analytics. This position provides practical exposure to campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis while contributing to audience engagement and ticket sales initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with email marketing campaigns, including copywriting, audience segmentation, deployment, and performance reporting.
Develop content and messaging for social media campaigns promoting upcoming productions and events.
Support content calendar planning and campaign coordination across digital channels.
Analyze email and social media performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
Draft marketing copy for email, social media, and other digital marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with marketing team members on campaign strategy, audience engagement, and promotional activities.
Assist with special projects and additional marketing assignments as needed
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and content creation principles.
Ability to analyze data and identify trends or insights.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Creative thinking and willingness to contribute new ideas.
Interest in live entertainment, performing arts, sports, or venue marketing preferred.
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams)
Social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook
Understanding of digital marketing concepts, campaign measurement, audience segmentation, and messaging strategy
Ability to create written content and basic performance reports
Education & Experience:
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, Digital Media Production, or a related field. Relevant coursework, projects, internships, or portfolio work demonstrating marketing and content development skills is preferred.
